Kitchen Expansion | Aurora, CO

This kitchen expansion was designed to improve both function and flow while helping the homeowner confidently move forward with their remodel. At the start of the process, they knew they needed more space but had a hard time visualizing how the kitchen could better support their day-to-day needs. Through concept design and detailed renderings, I was able to explore layout options, refine the design, and clearly communicate the vision before construction began.

The final design expands the kitchen to include additional counter space and cabinetry, a second sink, beverage fridge, and refrigerator drawers—features that support cooking, entertaining, and everyday use while keeping the space organized and efficient. With construction documents nearly complete, the project is now in the bidding phase. I continue to support the homeowner by helping navigate the bidding process, reviewing proposals, and connecting them with trusted contractors to ensure a smooth transition from design to construction.

Process

what to expect when you work with me

    Design Consult

    We will meet in person to discuss your project. After I will send you the cost for my services followed with a design contract and deposit request.

    Concept Design

    Following our design consult I will create plans and three dimensional renderings of your project. During this phase we will work together to come to a final design.

  • Architectural landscaping plan featuring existing grass, patio, privacy fences, new privacy evergreens, retaining walls, shrubs, grasses, and plants.

    Construction Documents

    I will provide you with construction documents or permit documents that you can bid with multiple contractors, submit for permit if required, and submit to your HOA or PUD if required.

    Construction Administration

    This is an optional service. During construction I will visit the project multiple times to ensure that it is being constructed as shown in the construction documents.
